Why is it that some people can stay motivated to exercise on a daily or regular basis and the rest of us struggle?  There are numerous tips and tricks for staying motivated and you will get the best results if you use all of them:

Mix  It Up:  If you belong to a gym, don't just go on the treadmill, but try the elliptical machine, the stationary bike, and even the stair climber (I know - ouch!).

Lift Weights: Some women believe that lifting weights is just for men, or will make them bulky and muscular.  The fact is, the reason men lose weight easier than women and can eat more than women is that they have more muscle and the more muscle a person has, the more calories that person will burn - even at rest.

If you are anxious about how to use the machines at the gym, have a gym employee show you around.  And if you need more than one time, ask for it.  The fact is, the gym wants you to be successful so that you keep coming back and renewing your membership.
